Miami-Dade County is leading the nation in home sales with a whopping 12.5% increase since January 2011. Thus making Miami-Dade County the fastest rebounding housing market this year. This all from a study conducted by real estate research firm, CoreLogic. Distressed sales were not included in this study.
Exciting news for home sellers wishing to put their homes on the market this year. The current available inventory in Miami-Dade and Broward counties are around 30,000 properties. This is a sharp decline from the 45,000 available a year ago. The inventory is shrinking quickly, and prices will start to gradaully increase, making it an optimal time to sell your property.
The constant flow of foreign buyers is still strong, and the number of countless cash buyers coming to the table is increasing. Pending home sales are up from last year, and the available inventory even in rental properties in decreasing. A fabulous opportunity for landlords and sellers alike.
